Dated 20th Feb 2017: Pestle Weed College hosted the Farewell Ceremony for class Twelfth Batch 2016-17 in the most befitting manner. The Principal, Mr. Prem Kashyap appealed to the outgoing batch particularly and everybody in general to up-held the basic value system in life to be a successful human. The Farewell is indeed a very solemn occasion reflecting the sense of belongingness and strengthening the bond among the outgoing batch and Alma Mater. The organizer really made the farewell memorable by presenting a well knitted and multifarious programmes weather it was a melodious song presented by Mast. Singam to begin with or a dance presentation by Junior boys followed by Musical Chair for outgoing batch, which was indeed a thrill to watch but Seldon surpassed everyone by her swift movements and alertness resulting in winning the game. The Retro Dance of Shrirudhi, Venvi, Prachi, Tenzin& Kashish were the treat to watch, the flexibility and rhythm in their body were un-believable which spell bounded the beholders. The most awaited moment of the day were the contest for various titles, commenced with ramp walk, in which all the students of outgoing batch displayed their confidence and aesthetic sense, the judges shortlisted Aman Tiger, Diwakar Tyagi, Seldon, Ipsita, Shivagi & Jitesh to go to the second round, which was a Question Answers round, in which Ipsita were adjudged Miss C.B.S.E. whereas Mast. Jitesh won the Title Mr. C.B.S.E. Ipsita coveted with the crown of Mis Spark and Mast. Diwakar Mr. Spark. Miss Shivangi was adjudged in the female category as most aesthetically Dressed girl, Decorated with the title Miss Charming whereas Aman Chaudhary for his Dynamic attire won the title of Mr. Personality. Mrs Kiran Kashyap and Mr. Prem Kashyap graciously awarded the title to the recipient.0 Mr. Prem Kashyap in his address appealed to young budding citizens to upheld the basic value system to lead a successful life, he advised the students to have a purpose in life, which will make their goals more clearer & simpler, be more positive and accountable in their day to day approach. He expressed his concern over the materialistic approach of young students very early in their life. He wished the outgoing batch all the best for forthcoming Board Examination and for all their future endeavors. Miss Seldon formally proposed Vote of Thanks, expressing her gratitude to all the teachers, warden, P.T.I. & Mess staff. The programme culminated by outgoing batch handling over the torch of the school to their immediate juniors, a ritual portraying the pledge by class XI to take this institution to the zenith of glory.
