Workshop on Effective Teaching, Communication Skills and the Language Acquisition Process

Today on 15.04.2025, a workshop was organized in PWCIT, Dehradun on “Effective Teaching,
Communication Skills and the Language Acquisition Process” by renowned speaker Mr. Bhupesh Kumar,
TEFL/TESOL and Life Skills Trainer.
Effective communication is crucial for fostering understanding, achieving success in all aspects of life and
building relationships. It is a tool for sharing thoughts, ideas, feelings, opinions and plans with others.
Mr. Bhupesh guided students very effectively about how to make communication impressive and use it in
our daily life. He emphasized on the main components of communication like assent, tone, stress, language,
vocabulary, confidence, listening, body language, etc., which play important role in communication.
It was indeed very productive and live session as students participated fully and tried to speak up the
dialogues told by the Trainer. The session was very fruitful also as the skills that were told are very useful in
the profession of teaching and for the B.Ed students.
