hacking, cyberbullying, fake websites, and malware attacks. Cyber criminals often use
convincing messages, fake calls, or attractive offers to trick people into revealing sensitive
information or transferring money.
How Can We Stay Safe?
Cyber safety begins with awareness and responsible digital habits:
1- Use strong and unique passwords for important accounts.
2- Enable two-factor authentication wherever possible.
3- Never share your OTP, PIN, CVV, password, or banking details with anyone.
4- Do not click on suspicious links or download unknown attachments.
5- Verify websites, emails, phone numbers, and payment requests before responding.
6- Keep your operating system, applications, and security software updated.
7- Avoid sharing unnecessary personal information on social media.
8- Be cautious of online jobs, investment offers, scholarships, and prizes that seem too
good to be true.
What If You Become a Victim?
If you experience cyber fraud, act immediately. Contact your bank or financial institution if
money is involved, change compromised passwords, preserve screenshots and transaction
details, and report the incident through the appropriate official cybercrime channels.
Cyber security is not only the responsibility of governments and technology companies—it is
everyone’s responsibility. A moment of caution can prevent significant loss.
